Part 2
Proverbs 4: 20 (amp)
My Son or Daughter, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings.
If you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, then you need to learn to apply the Word of God in what you are doing in business & everyday life.
The word Attend according to Webster's New World Dictionary...
1. To be present at.
2 To pay attention.
3. To go with.
4. To take care of.
Consent & Submit are two words that do not go well with people.
The word Consent & Submit according to Webster's New World Dictionary...
Consent
1. Agree
2. Agreement or approval
Submit
1. Present for consideration
2. Surrender
When I wrote part one of this blog, a comment was made on,
how can you apply this in business? Please remember this; you must first apply it to your own life, before you take it public!
Without you, there would be no business! You are the brand or product, no matter what you do in life,
“YOU ARE THE BUSINESS.” People must buy you, before they buy from your business. If what you are teaching does not work for you, then do not export it to someone else.
When you are training or helping someone, what you do, must come from your heart. That’s where the power is. Too many people get some information or a teaching, and want to start teaching others what they know right away. If you have not even proved it in your own life yet, then you are just giving others what you know, and there is no life or power with that.
Prove that it works for you first, before you export it to others.
Consent & Submit are two words of action, which must be carried out by the person.
Amos 3:3 (amp)
Do two walk together except they make an appointment and have agreed?
How many people do you know in life & business, which cannot come into any type of agreement?
Walking or working together is not by accident, it is a choice that you must make.
I have come to see that people, who live & walk & work on the competitive plain of life, have a hard time to agree with others.
On the other hand, people who live & walk & work on the creative plain of life, are first of all givers, and know how to work with people.
A person, who knows how to walk in the power of agreement, usually puts others before themselves.
Now the Word of God says; consent and submit to my sayings.
If you as a believer have a hard time to consent and submit to the Word of God, You will find yourself having a hard time in your own business and with people.
Negative Attitudes can destroy you, and your business or ministry.
1. Do You have a hard time with authority or rebellion to authority.
2. Do you get along with others well
3. Do you only get involved, when it is convenient for you.
When you can consent and submit to the Word of God for your life first, that will motivate you, to live a positive and successful life.
You Are Blessed!
